Android N is now Android Nougat

Google has officially announced the name of the next version of Android. Android N will be officially be called Android Nougat.

The news comes six weeks after Google put the name to the public.

Although the name might disappoint some Indian users (who were campaigning for Neyyappam), if you think about it, it’s really the only obvious choice.

Android Nougat will be available later this year.
